Halley Shoenberg's Hot Gumbo Jazz Band performs traditional 1920's/30's Jazz and Blues for dancing and listening. This lively group has been a big hit with dancers at Glen Echo Spanish Ballroom and is excited to perform for PRJC's Mardi Gras celebration! Halley Shoenberg has led her own jazz bands for more than twenty years, produced three of her own CDs which include her original compositions and arrangements and performed at hundreds of events throughout the Washington, DC area. She has been a member of the Potomac River Jazz Club since playing with the Club's youth group "Federal Focus Jazz Band," and has been inspired by hearing and playing with many traditional jazz bands in the DC area as well as on several trips to New Orleans...
